Clarentarondight

Clarent is ceremonial sword from the Arthurian legend used to Knight inductees into The Round Table. A sword fitting it's description appears in The Order: 1886 during The Knighthood, in the Lord Chancellor's possession.

It only appears during Marquis de Lafayette's induction and cannot be obtained by the player.

The sword is embedded with Lancelot's coat of arms and could also be Arondight; one of Lancelot's swords in the Arthurian legend.

Background[]

In some tales, Clarent is the sword in the stone, rather than Excalibur, which is pulled out from the stone by King Arthur. It is used for Knighting inductees into The Round Table opposed to being used as a weapon. The only instance it was used as a weapon was by Mordred, Arthur's son/nephew, during a conflict with the King himself.
